On 30 May, EVERY donation to JDRF will be DOUBLED for life-changing type 1 diabetes research!
Type 1 diabetes (T1D) is a lifelong autoimmune condition where your body stops producing insulin—which is what controls blood sugar levels in our bodies. It means 24/7 monitoring of blood sugar levels and administering insulin into your body multiple times a day either through injections or an insulin pump. There is currently no cure for this condition, and it affects more than 130,000 Australians, with a further 8 people diagnosed each day.
I am raising money in support of JDRF's Giving Day taking place on 30 May, to make a life-changing difference. Every dollar you donate between now and 30 May will be multiplied by 2 so you can make TWICE the impact in advancing research aimed at finding cures and improving lives until that happens. Please help us reach our goal so that together we can create a better future for all those living with T1D.
